These Black Copal incense sticks are hand-rolled in Peru from 100% natural ingredients including Black Copal resin, charcoal, Palo Santo sawdust, vegetable gum and bamboo sticks. Also known as “Mayan Copal”; this dark, aromatic tree resin has been used in Central and South American cultures to create sacred spaces, invite creativity, abundance, and positive loving energy. It is said to connect ancestral wisdom to new beginnings - often burned at weddings for luck! The resulting aroma is somewhere between very rich pine, crisp citrus and smokey earth. Directions: Hold at an angle pointing down, light the tip and blow out the flame so that only smoke is produced. Place in an incense holder (not included) and allow the incense to linger.
