The Shumatsu Secateurs are made by a small family business in Hyogo, an area famed for its long blacksmithing tradition. These are satisfyingly dimpled, with golf ball-like textured aluminum handles that give these carbon steel secateurs an unique look and reassuring feel. Great indoors for cut flowers and houseplants, as well as for general pruning in the garden. Shumatsu means ‘weekend’ in Japanese, but they will work equally well on a Tuesday afternoon.
