New York Stoneware

New York Stoneware was established in 2013 by William Reardon in Brooklyn, New York.  Born and raised in New York City, William studied architecture and ceramics at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and graduated with a BFA in 2007. 

Inspired by the craft of pottery making and the simplicity and subtlety of objects made repeatedly by skilled craftspeople William aims to make simple, functional pottery.  He makes pottery inspired by classic forms and aims to achieve an understated elegance through the act of repeating and refining the forms with which he works.
