Casa Cubista Mini Vases

Handmade ceramics from Portugal.  A sweet little bud vase with a big personality.  Hand-painted stripes in black or blue over white and a collar at the base of the neck make a design element all on its own, as well as with a handful of blooms.  The interior and bottom are glazed terracotta.   

Casa Cubista was founded in Olhao, Portugal, a bustling fishing port on Portugal's Algarve coast.  The name 'cubista' comes from the unusual whitewashed and tiled cubist style of buildings found in the alleys and streets of the old town.  All pieces are made by local artisans and businesses, including one of Casa's founders.
